Fon's moves quickly caught our eyes at an after party held at Jello Bar (151, rue Ontario Est) during the holidays. The talented popper demonstrated distinct style and technique while working the dance floor to an old school hip hop tune. Having moved from the U.S several years ago, Fon is dedicated to bring popping and house dance to the forefront of Montreal's dance scene. Over the years, he has traveled to different parts of North America, showcasing his skills through performance, choreography and teaching.

FYI: Contrary to break dancing, popping originated from Fresno California in the late 1970s and was first performed by the Electric Boogaloos on Soul Train.
